Commercial Real Estate
Pender Capital is a fully integrated investment firm dedicated to commercial real estate credit-based investments that has originated $1.056 billion in commercial real estate credit, representing more than $1.719 billion in asset value. The firm is owned and operated by a team of seasoned commercial real estate professionals with hands-on real estate experience, credit skills, and sophisticated investment banking expertise.
Through Pender Capital Management, a registered investment advisor, we capitalize on inefficiencies in the midmarket and small balance commercial real estate (CRE) credit markets to provide investors the opportunity for risk-adjusted returns, portfolio diversification and income.
Through Pender Capital’s funding division, we provide commercial real estate borrowers across the United States access to capital for direct commercial bridge loans with an emphasis on originating and servicing short-term commercial real estate loans in the $9 million to $30 million range, secured by first lien positions of the underlying real estate as collateral.
Our nimble approach to the market allows us to quickly capitalize on market inefficiencies created by the limitations of larger institutions. We’ve established institutionalized underwriting to ensure our lending processes are sound, our borrowers have a high propensity to fulfill their loan obligations and we can quickly and efficiently facilitate closings. We use our well-established and expansive network as a foundation for deal flow, accessing opportunities in credit and equity often not available to the broader market.
